Boujoua!
2010 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix
Right off the green light, it look like Vettel(Red Bull-Renault) had this race in the bag. Both Ferraris and the rest of the pack were seconds behind and Vettel was gaining a half second a lap. When around midway, Vettel’s RB6 has a sparkplug failure, and makes the Ferrari pounce quite easy. Alonso(Ferrari) got to taste first blood and team mate Massa got to taste second. Even Hamilton(Mclaren-Mercedes) was able to scavenge some meat off of Vettel to get himself up on the podium in 3rd position. Rosberg(Mercedes) is looking quite good with some decent equipment behind him so much that he one upped his out of retirement team mate Schumacher. Coming in next is the current reigning world champion, Jenson Button(Mclaren-Mercedes) not showing anything royal so far this season especially when his team mate is up on the podium and he comes in 7th. The rest of the drivers in the points are as follows: Webber(Redbull-Renault), Luizzi(ForceIndia-Mercedes), Barrichello(Williams-Cosworth). Over all the season opener was superb all around. The ban on refueling has made the pit stops as short as 3 seconds. Which is ridiculous to think that all 4 tires can be changed in 3 seconds, but F1 does not cease to amaze. The choreography of 16 men changing four tires is quite amazing to watch and has made pit strategy quite interesting.
